Will the tool cut off part of my photo?
A different source aspect ratio requires cropping. Adjust the framing preview before generating; this tool does not add borders.
A LITTLE LESS FRICTION
Choose a photo, adjust the framing and orientation, then generate a 4×6-inch JPEG at 300 PPI.
JPEG, PNG or WebP · up to 25 MB and 24 megapixels
02 / CHOOSE A TASK
Print at the selected paper/photo size and turn off extra “fit to page” scaling. Results depend on your printer or lab.
50% halves both dimensions. File size is measured separately.
Enlarging cannot restore detail or guarantee print quality.
The target is a maximum, not an exact size. If it cannot be met at the selected dimensions, we tell you; we never reduce pixels silently.
1 KB = 1000 bytes · 1 MB = 1000000 bytes
This is a byte reduction, separate from width and height scaling.
Original reused only if no private metadata needs removal.
JPEG has no transparency. Choose a background before converting PNG or WebP; the background preview below shows it.

Only pixels, format, byte limits and requested JPEG density are checked. Composition, background, lighting, head proportions and capture origin are not checked. Approval is not guaranteed.
Portrait is 1200 × 1800 pixels; landscape is 1800 × 1200. The preview shows what will be cropped. Print at 4 × 6 inches without extra “fit to page” scaling. Enlarging a small source cannot restore detail.
| Orientation | Pixels | Paper size |
|---|---|---|
| Portrait | 1200 × 1800 | 4 × 6 inches |
| Landscape | 1800 × 1200 | 6 × 4 inches |
The framing preview shows the crop; this tool does not add borders. 300 PPI sets pixel density in the JPEG. Select matching paper and disable extra fit-to-page scaling when printing.

No. It sets output pixels and JPEG density, but enlarging cannot restore missing detail. Check the source and the result.
